Charles Enoch is a Deputy Director in the Statistics Department of the IMF. He is a UK National and was educated at Cambridge University and at Princeton where he gained a Ph.D. in Economics. From 1976 to 1987 he worked in a variety of jobs at the Bank of England, and from 1987 to 1990 he represented the United Kingdom as Alternate Executive Director at the IMF. After a further spell at the Bank of England he returned to the IMF as Division Chief in the Monetary and Exchange Affairs Department in early 1993. He moved to the Statistics Department as Deputy Director in 2000 and, after a further spell in the Monetary Department, has been in the Statistics Department again since 2007.
