Robert Haveman is Professor Emeritus of Economics and Public Affairs and Research Associate at the Institute for Research on Poverty. He is also Adjunct Professor of Economics at University of Melbourne (AU). He has published widely in public finance, the economics of environmental and natural resources policy, benefit-cost analysis, and the economics of poverty and social policy. Publications include Succeeding Generations: On the Effects of Investments in Children (with Barbara Wolfe), Russell Sage Foundation, 1994, and Human Capital in the United States from 1975 to 2000: Patterns of Growth and Utilization (with Andrew Bershadker and Jonathan A. Schwabish), Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, 2003.
