Tobias Linzert is currently working at the European Central Bank. He received his Ph.D. from Goethe-University Frankfurt. He previously studied economics at the Technical University of Dresden, the New School University New York and the Humboldt University in Berlin from which he received his master’s degree (Diplom Volkswirt). In Spring 2002 he was a visiting fellow at the Department of Economics at Harvard University. Tobias Linzert’s research focuses on the macroeconomic aspects of labor markets. In particular, he investigates the sources and dynamics of unemployment and the interaction between labor markets and monetary policy.
