This study deals with an investigation of the basic traits of Gini's ontology, epistemology and methodology of science supporting his contributions; in synthesis, his philosophy of science in action. It is asserted and substantiated with references to his oeuvre that Gini's philosophy of science can be characterized by a realist, consistent, systemic and evolutionary ontology, epistemology and methodology of science. Several examples drawn from Gini's contributions to the methodology of science and to the factual sciences are presented and analyzed, substaniating the stated scope of this sutdy.
