Resumen: It is remarkable the influence of financial sector in an economy, resulting of great interest the empirical analysis of the effects of short and long run. This is done using the so called technique Pooled Mean Group. The results reveal significant positive effects of financial growth on economic growth, but it should be noted that the estimates are sensitive to the inclusion or not of the cross sections belonging to the sample. Hence, the need of doing a sensitivity analysis, not limiting to the average case, while noting significance and het-erogeneity of the coefficients for each variable and particular country.
